The largest domestic waste incineration power plant constructed by Chongqing Sanfeng Cavanta will be completed by the end of next year. After the plant is completed, the garbage collected in the city's main downtown area will be fully digested.

It is reported that the power plant is located in Fengsheng Town, Banan District, covers an area of ​​200 acres, with a total investment of 900 million yuan. The plant was started in July this year. The first production line will be completed and put into use in June next year. Before the end of the year, all four production lines will be completed and put into use. "This is China's largest waste incineration power plant, and the actual waste disposal can reach more than 3,000 tons per day." Lei Qinping, chairman of Sanfeng Cavanta, said that together with the Tongxing Waste Power Plant, the 4,900 tons that Chongqing currently produces each day Rubbish can be basically digested. Lei Qinping also revealed that two waste-to-energy power plants located near Jiangjin and Tongxing have started their preliminary work and are expected to be completed within two years.
