Dongfang Electric 1000 MW Ultra-supercritical Boiler Passes Identification

On July 23, the 1000MW ultra-supercritical boiler independently developed by Dongfang Boiler Co., Ltd. of China Dongfang Electric Corporation passed the expert appraisal.

A member of the appraisal committee, consisting of Tsinghua University, Xi'an Thermal Power Institute, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Shanghai Power Generation Equipment Research Institute, Chongqing University and other related technical experts, listened to reports on the development and development of Dongfang Boiler Products Co., Ltd. Boiler performance test report and boiler operation report of Suizhong Power Generation Co., Ltd. Power Plant B, and reviewed technical data and drawings. After full discussion, they agreed that: Dongfang Boiler independently researched and developed the first domestic 1000MW ultra-supercritical boiler. Its good operating performance shows that the product R&D is successful, the boiler has advanced technology, reasonable structure design, safe operation, economy, and environmental protection, reaching the international advanced level. The application of domestic high-temperature heat-resistant steel S30432 has accumulated experience for the domestic application of austenitic high-temperature and heat-resistant steel materials, and has passed the appraisal.

Dongfang Electric will further optimize the design of domestically produced 1000MW ultra-supercritical boiler series products, and provide more excellent products for users at home and abroad.
