In the midst of the dispute, due to promising electric vehicle development prospects, low-speed electric vehicle companies have emerged in the country in recent years. In Shandong alone, there are more than 50 low-speed electric vehicle companies with a total production capacity of about 200,000 vehicles a year.

In the view of Chen Quanshi, eliminating a group of small enterprises without technology is a good thing for the future development of low-speed electric vehicles. “In the past, the threshold was too low.
