Japan Display Corp. recently announced two high-pixel-density screens, one of which has 1001 PPIs per inch, while the other screen is 803PPI. Both displays are designed specifically for the VR field, with ultra-high resolution and very close to the real world. Since Japanese display company was established by three Japanese electronics giants, Sony, Hitachi and Toshiba, in November 2011 to establish a small and medium screen manufacturer, we have reason to believe that Sony PS VR 2.0 will have the opportunity to adopt this display.
