This paper establishes a test platform for fuel cell engines based on NI integrated hardware and software environment. The platform can realize the test and control of fuel cell engines and their auxiliary systems, the measurement of fuel cell engine system parameters, provide multiple environments for fuel cell engines, and even the evaluation of system control strategies. Using the NI development kit, an intelligent software platform with embedded expert system is established, which not only ensures the safety of the test platform, but also diagnoses the potential faults of the system. In addition, due to the high-speed sampling of the test platform, the accuracy of the fuel cell engine dynamic characteristic parameters is guaranteed. The system uses these parameters to automatically generate a test report that includes the fuel cell engine dynamic model.
Test platform functional requirements
The essence of a fuel cell engine is an electrochemical reactor that can output electrical energy externally, as shown in Figure 1. The fuel cell engine can be divided into 4 parts: air system, hydrogen system, circulating water system and fuel cell stack. A complete fuel cell engine test platform needs to provide fuel and temperature control with adjustable parameters and appropriate load for the test object; and can process the data in the test process accordingly, make evaluation for the test object, and further The optimal design of the system makes reasonable suggestions.

There are three main tests for fuel cells: test the power output characteristics of the fuel cell engine under different working conditions to achieve the purpose of optimizing the vehicle's power system configuration; establish and verify its mathematical model by measuring the operating parameters of the fuel cell engine Or control model, used to optimize the control strategy of the fuel cell engine; by testing the effects of different auxiliary systems on the fuel cell, to achieve the best match for the fuel cell engine.
