Hebi Keda intelligent one muffle furnace slow ash determination method - Database & Sql Blog Articles

The XL-2000A energy-saving intelligent integrated muffle furnace is one of the flagship products of Hebi City Keda Instrument and Meter Co., Ltd. This advanced muffle furnace stands out for its energy efficiency, reducing both time and power consumption by up to 50% and 66%, respectively, compared to traditional models. It offers a range of specialized heating procedures, including rapid ashing, slow ashing, volatile matter analysis, Roga index, and bond index, making it ideal for various industrial and research applications. Designed with precision and reliability in mind, the XL-2000A uses a microprocessor as its central control unit, allowing for touch keyboard input. When testing coal quality, it automatically performs tests such as slow ash, fast ash, Roga index, bond index, and volatile matter according to national standards GB212, GB5447, and GB5449. The device features a PID control algorithm and adaptive control technology, ensuring temperature accuracy that exceeds standard requirements. Its high-performance control system provides stable and reliable operation. The user-friendly interface includes an LCD screen with Chinese character display, making it easy to monitor test progress, time, temperature, and functions. The furnace is designed for efficient heat retention and fast heating, significantly saving energy and time. Compared to conventional muffle furnaces, it reduces heating time by half and saves two-thirds of the energy. The overall design is practical, durable, and aesthetically pleasing, with a long service life and a convenient controllable chimney switch for easy operation. For optimal performance, the XL-2000A should be used in a controlled environment with temperatures ranging from 0°C to 40°C and relative humidity not exceeding 85%. The power supply requires AC220V ± 22V at 50Hz ± 1Hz. The operating area must be free from strong corrosive gases, electromagnetic interference, and permanent magnetic fields, with good ventilation. The device should be placed on a stable laboratory workbench in a well-lit, spacious room. Before use, all instruments and systems must be checked thoroughly, especially electrical connections, to ensure safe and proper operation. Only trained personnel who are familiar with the manual and related equipment should operate the muffle furnace. An air switch or knife switch rated above 40A is required. Users should also prepare items such as ash dishes, ash dish racks, volatile basins, and volatile trusses. Key technical specifications include a temperature range of 0°C to 1000°C, with a measurement accuracy of ±3°C using a class I K-type thermocouple. Temperature control accuracy is ±5°C between 250°C and 1000°C. The furnace heats from room temperature to 850°C within 15 minutes or less. Ash and volatile matter measurements meet the requirements of GB/T 212. The power supply is AC220V ± 22V at 50Hz ± 1Hz, with a power rating of 3.5kW and a weight of approximately 35kg. The slow ashing method is a widely used technique in coal analysis. The XL-2000A supports this process, following the GB test method. To perform a slow ashing test, first pre-burn an ash dish to constant mass, then weigh 1g (±0.1g) of air-dried coal sample with a particle size less than 0.2mm, accurately to 0.0002g. Spread the sample evenly in the dish, ensuring no more than 0.15g per square centimeter. When starting the test, press “Enter” to access the function selection menu, then choose “ash” and confirm. The furnace will automatically enter “Process 0,” checking if the temperature is below 100°C. If it's higher, open the door to cool down. Otherwise, place the ash dish in the furnace and leave a 15mm gap in the door. In “Process 1,” the furnace warms up for at least 30 minutes, gradually reaching 500°C. Once achieved, a sound prompt will signal the next step. In “Process 2,” the temperature remains at 500°C for 30 minutes. Then, the furnace moves to “Process 3,” heating to 815°C. After reaching the target temperature, the furnace enters “Process 4,” where the sample burns for 1 hour. After the burn, open the furnace, remove the ash dish, and cool it in air for about 5 minutes before placing it in a desiccator to reach room temperature. Weigh the dish and repeat the process until two consecutive burns show a mass change of no more than 0.001g. Press “Back” to return to the main menu. For inspection burns, the furnace can be reloaded and tested again, following similar steps. The process ensures accurate and consistent results, making the XL-2000A a reliable choice for coal and material analysis. Whether you're conducting routine tests or advanced research, this muffle furnace delivers precision, efficiency, and ease of use.
