This multi-purpose trash can is positioned for two scenarios:

The trash can has the following features:

Consider directly measuring the remaining height of the trash can so that you can get the free amount by comparing the measured data with the height of the trash can when it is empty. The specific implementation method we used at the beginning is the ultrasonic ranging module, but in the actual test, it is found that the use of ultrasonic ranging requires very strict requirements on the plane of the garbage. If the plane of the garbage is undulating or there is a certain inclination, it will result in Large measurement error, so finally decided to abandon the program to use infrared to control the tube group for capacity detection.
Here, five pairs of infrared pair tubes are used, which are arranged at equal intervals in the order from high to low, respectively, placed on the inner wall side of the trash can. When there is garbage input, the light path to the tube is cut off, so that the receiving tube has a signal output. The more garbage that is put in, the more the number of tubes that are cut, so that the remaining capacity of the trash can be discerned as long as the number of tubes cut is detected.
