500 kV Changshu South Substation North Station main transformer successfully started

On March 31st, under the cooperation of the East China Electric Power Grid Company, the Jiangsu Electric Power Company on-site command and the relevant departments of the Suzhou Power Supply Company, the main Transformer of the 500 kV Changshu South Power Substation North Station successfully started.

The 500-kV Changshu South Substation is currently the largest 500-kilovolt substation in the country. The project uses a “mirror image” arrangement and is divided into south and north station areas. In the current period, three sets of 1 million kVA transformers will be built with 6 long-term prospects; 500 kV lines will have 8 rounds of the current period and 12 long-range views; 220 kV lines will have 18 rounds of the current period and 24 long-range views. The 500-kV line is connected to the 500-kV Zhangjiagang-Kingtai double-circuit loop open access loop to Changshu North Station and the 500-kV Doosan to the Shipai I and II-loop open loop to Changshu South Station.

The 500-kV Changshu South Substation is the second batch of intelligent substation pilot projects of the State Grid Corporation of China. It is mainly piloted in the 220-kilovolt area of ​​the South Railway Station and uses the information integration platform and status monitoring and auxiliary system to analyze the two sets of advanced intelligence of the substation. Application equipment. The intelligent part of the project is completely designed in accordance with the guidelines of the intelligent management of the State Grid Corporation. After the completion of its operation in June 2011, the level of intelligence will be at the leading position in China.
