The humidity sensor to be connected in the figure can be two graphite rods with copper caps. When the soil is dry, the conductivity between the two graphite rods is low, and the resistance is large. After partial pressure, BG1 is cut off, and BG2 and BG3 are turned on. The corresponding multivibrator starts up due to power, and its oscillation period is T=0.693 (R5+2R6+2Rw2)C2. Where t charge = 0.693 (R5 + R6 + Rw2) C2, t put = 0.693 (R6 + Rw2) C2. Adjusting the potentiometer W2 can change the oscillation period T and the duty cycle charge, that is, the pumping time of the pump motor M, and the shift time of the pump motor M is set. When the soil is wet, the corresponding two graphite rods have low resistance, BG1 is turned on, BG2 and BG3 are cut off, the multivibrator stops vibration due to no power supply, and the BG4 tube is cut off, the SCR is cut off, and the corresponding pumping motor does not work.
After the humidity sensor is connected to the circuit, the soil moisture can be automatically detected, and intermittent irrigation can be automatically and timely.
