This "Hualong Brand" new energy electric bus was jointly developed by Henan Jinyi New Energy Group and Shenyang Hualong New Energy Automobile Co., Ltd. The roadshow activities verified the feasibility of the application of the new vehicle upscaling technology in the field of new energy vehicles through on-site data measurement, and through actual measurement, laid the foundation for the application of the new program of new energy buses.
The extended-range power technology has exclusive core invention patents and won the second-class national invention award. Its motor and generator efficiency is expected to reach 98.2%. Extending the program, the new energy bus does not need charging piles during the driving process, and solves the biggest charging problem in the field of battery energy electric vehicles.
According to Chen Junyan, chairman of the Jinyi New Energy Group, the extended range bus is equipped with a range extender to save electricity and fuel, and has a very good environmental protection effect. “In order to achieve the above effects, we have installed a system that can automatically charge the battery on the original pure electric bus, collectively referred to as a range extender (APU). The APU consists of a small displacement internal combustion engine and an efficiency greater than 98. % of the high-efficiency generator and control system and charging device, using gasoline or natural gas and other fuels, the traditional energy through the range-converter into electricity." Chen Junyan said.
It is reported that the range extender has four major characteristics: it can expand the power unit, greatly reducing the frequency of charging, making the actual use rate of the vehicle improve; significantly increasing the stability and life of the battery, reducing the risk of fire, natural and explosion of the battery; fuel consumption is reduced More than half of the fuel consumption of ordinary city fuel vehicles; the clean electric power mode can also be used for short distances of less than 100 kilometers. This scale-up new energy bus can be widely used in urban public transportation systems after large-scale production.
