"Hualong No.1"

“Hualong No.1” overseas first batch of Pakistan Karachi nuclear power unit No. 2 started construction on August 20, 2015; 2016 Karachi nuclear power unit No. 3 has also started construction, and the project is progressing smoothly.

The "going out" of "Hualong No. 1" has continuously made breakthroughs. In addition to Pakistan, it has reached cooperation intentions with nearly 20 countries including Argentina, Britain, Egypt, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Sudan, Ghana and Malaysia.

"Ronglong No.1"

Compared with nuclear power plants with dozens or even millions of kilowatts of nuclear power plants, small reactors have advanced and innovative technologies such as miniaturization, modularization, integration, and passive, which have the advantages of high safety, flexibility, and wide application. It can be used as a distributed power source in close to industrial areas and densely populated areas to realize urban district heating and industrial process heating. It can supply power to small and medium-sized power grids in remote areas, and can be used as mobile power for power supply for marine resources development. The modular small reactor (ACP100) is a small-scale pressurized water reactor with complete independent intellectual property rights developed by CNNC based on military nuclear power and mature pressurized water reactor technology. With the industrialization of small piles, CNNC has registered the “Linglong No.1” trademark for ACP100.

Up to now, the R&D and design work of “Linglong No.1” has been completed and has the conditions for engineering construction. According to reports, some countries have expressed strong interest in the small piles of China National Nuclear Corporation and expressed their willingness to cooperate. CNNC has conducted small-scale cooperation negotiations with Pakistan, Iran, the United Kingdom, Saudi Arabia, Indonesia, Mongolia, Brazil, Egypt, Canada and other countries, and has started project negotiations with some countries.
