In the evening of March 25th, Beijing time, Cisco announced on Monday that it will acquire SolveDirect, a cloud service management solution provider.
SolveDirect was founded in 2000 and is headquartered in Vienna, Austria. It has more than 220 customers worldwide and mainly provides cloud-based intelligent IT service management integration solutions. Through its solutions, companies can better support their users.
Hilton Romanski, Cisco ’s head of corporate business development for mergers and acquisitions, said: “SolveDirect will help Cisco extend its current intelligent IT services to the global ecosystem of customers, partners, and retailers.â€
After the transaction is completed, the SolveDirect team will join the Cisco Services Division and report to Mala Anand, Cisco's senior vice president.
Cisco did not disclose the price of the transaction, but it is expected to be completed in the fourth quarter of fiscal 2013.
