The new SafeSiteTM Class I Div 2 LED high bay light adds touchscreen operation and wireless technology for maximum control and lighting efficiency.
Dialight recently introduced the world's first Class I Div 2 certified LED lighting system with a highly integrated wireless control system. The new SafeSite® products provide a simple and secure touch-screen management interface for indoor and outdoor hazardous applications such as refining, drilling, chemistry and power plants, thus maximizing lighting control and energy efficiency.
The system includes Dialight's SafeSite LED technology and a simple yet powerful touch screen controller that is UL listed ETL certified. 100 luminaires can be connected via a single controller. With this system, users do not need to operate the luminaire 24 hours a day, seven days a week, thus avoiding a long warm-up period and without the wear and tear caused by the repeated switching operation of the traditional luminaire. Users also have access to independent light controls, including those necessary for other equipment circuits and switches.
Wireless networking is based on the 2.4GHz 802.15.4 industry standard, and the system is self-healing and scalable, so new fixtures enable simple plug-and-play functionality. To maximize security, the system uses 128 bytes of AES encryption to ensure secure authentication. The system is also compatible with DALI configurations.
