Whether the grounding device is good or not, direct traffic is related to the safety of people and equipment, and even the grounding device is involved, so it is too much. In practice, regular maintenance and inspection should be carried out for various types of grounding devices. Temporary inspections and maintenance should also be carried out according to actual needs.
The period of maintenance and inspection of the grounding device is generally: the grounding resistance of the grounding grid of the substation or the grounding device of the equipment on the factory floor should be measured once a year. See if it meets the requirements and analyze the changes in the last measurement. Other grounding devices are required to be measured every two years. According to the scale of the grounding device, the importance of the electrical system and seasonal variations, the grounding device should be inspected one or two times a year. Its specific content is:
1) Whether the grounding wire is broken, damaged or severely corroded;
2) Whether the connection between the grounding branch and the grounding trunk is firm;
3) Whether the soil at the grounding point is loose due to external force;
4) Repeatedly entering the grounding wire, the grounding body and its connection are intact;
5) Check if the bolts at all connection points are loose and should be solidified one by one;
6) Excavate the grounding and lead the surrounding ground to check the degree of corrosion of the underground 0.5m extension line. If it is serious, it should be replaced immediately;
7) Check if the connection line card and jumper wire of the grounding wire are in good condition;
8) Check whether the paint on the grounding line of the fixed grounding part is off, and if it falls off, it should be recoated to make the mark clear;
9) Check if the grounding body is too close to the surface due to water impact or other reasons. If there is such a phenomenon, it should be repaired in time;
10) Make a record of the changes, maintenance, and measurement of the grounding device.
