From January 20, 2012, Hitachi Electric Co., Ltd. will successively list 110 models of straight tube type LED lamp update kits and installation kits for replacing complete sets of appliances. The shape of the two ends of the update kit is the same as that of the widely used 110-type straight tube type fluorescent lamp, which can be easily replaced with an LED lamp by using an existing appliance.
The update kit sets the way to fix the LED lights and power them by wires using the lamp holder of the existing appliance, and to change the lamp head to a dedicated lamp head for LED lights. The LED lamp adopts the design of automatic dimming and heat dissipation to save energy. The average power consumption of the dual lamp device is 124W, which is 45% lower than that of the fluorescent lamp.
When using an existing fluorescent lamp to switch to LED lighting, there is a possibility that the fluorescent lamp is accidentally connected to the lamp cap, which is dangerous. Therefore, Hitachi adopts an external power supply mode. The two ends of the LED lamp are only used for fixing on the lamp cap, and the power supply part is additionally set to ensure safety. There are 6 models of installations for replacing complete sets of equipment without using existing fluorescent lamps, and 10 models are available.
