(I) Project Overview

1.1 System Overview

In this project, the work content of the noise monitoring system for the engine room is to monitor the remote air conditioning and compressor running status of another building 500 meters away in the monitoring room of a building according to the requirements of Shanghai Wanqian Information Technology Co., Ltd. Through on-site monitoring of on-site noise in the computer room, the site's noise information is analyzed to better understand its operation or failure conditions, and maintenance personnel are required to handle the equipment failure in advance.

(II) Control Design Plan

1.1 System Solution Analysis

The noise monitoring system of the equipment room adopts an intelligent data acquisition module. The collected data is transmitted to the remote monitoring room through the industrial LAN and monitored by the host computer to display the real-time status of the field. The staff can take corresponding measures according to the monitoring data.

Ø The development system has advanced and complete graphics generation functions; there are multiple data types in the database, corresponding to the characteristics of the control objects, and simple operation methods for important functions such as data alarms, trend curves, historical data records, and security precautions.

Ø The “Century Star Configuration Software” operating system is a real-time operating environment for displaying the animated graphic screens created in the development system and is responsible for the data exchange between the database and the I/O service program. It manages various data collected from industrial control objects through a real-time database, visualizes changes in the data in an animated manner, and completes monitoring functions such as alarms, historical data records, and trend curves.
