0 Preface
In recent years, with the concern of people on environmental issues, the earth's requirements for clean energy are getting higher and higher. The company has been committed to the development of power conditioning systems (PCS) for solar power generation.
Combined with the research and development case of solar power system control board, the problem of adjusting the system of paralleling multiple solar panels is introduced in this paper to reduce the cost and increase the number of parallel connected.
1 System Overview
Figure 1 is a block diagram of a large-scale solar power system.
The system is characterized in that the solar panel and the unit inverter group are connected to the system (AC connection), and the information such as system protection is summarized and sent as a signal to the main controller, and thus the controller controls each unit inverter ( Connect to the daisy chain connection via RS485 communication).
The control part of each unit inverter is shown in Figure 2.
By using our standard DSP substrate (PE-PR0/C32), MPPT control and system combination of the above specifications can be realized. A control board portion shown in FIG. 2 is formed by adding a function such as communication to the substrate. The power supply is designed and manufactured by the end user. The main circuit is shown in Figure 3.
2 Research and development case
When the design was carried out on the basis of the company's standard product DSP substrate, it took only 3 months to develop the sample machine, which greatly shortened the development time and quickly entered the test phase (PE-PR0). /C32: DSP uses TI's high-speed floating point-point DSP TMS320C32).
At the same time, in order to reduce the cost of sales, we have designed and developed a new control board using Renesas' RISC CPU SH7065 (fixed decimal point type). By using the RISC CPU, expensive components such as A/D converters can be cut in configuration, making switching smoother.
Based on the company's development system, the core chip is changed from DSP (TMS320C32) to RISC CPU (SH7065), and it is not necessary to greatly modify the program due to factors such as electric pulse counting. This is because it uses a unique analog floating point to make program transfer between a fixed decimal point and a floating point simple. And these can be achieved through the company's standard library (PEOS).
3 Conclusion
To date, the unit inverter's control panel has been sold in Japan for more than 300 sets and is still in continuous production. Through our development system, we believe that we can fully assist users in shortening the development time in the process of developing products, mass production at an early date, and improving product quality.
