Internet of Vehicles is still free in the periphery of the concept

Since the Internet of Vehicles was listed as a key project during the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan" period by the state, the upsurge of Internet of Vehicles has been repeatedly heated up, and enterprises have been swarming. Shi Qixin, a professor at the Transportation Research Institute of Tsinghua University, told reporters that the development of enterprises is actually unhealthy.

Experts suggest that priority should be given to the development of the application side, and the development of the entire industry should be driven by application services that consumers can accept.

Conceptual shift

In 2009, Shi Qixin first proposed the concept of Internet of Vehicles. In his understanding, the Internet of Vehicles has three layers. The first is the perception layer, which is the perception system such as RFID, which is also the simplest layer. The second layer is interconnection. After perception, vehicles and vehicles, and vehicles and roads must be interconnected. The third layer is to dispatch vehicles and manage vehicles through intelligent computing such as cloud computing.

He believes that the Internet of Vehicles that most people currently refer to is just the first level.

However, on the one hand, the establishment of the Internet of Vehicles needs to solve a series of technical problems, such as some sensors are not ideal, on the other hand, it involves more departments and industries, who is responsible for how to operate, and a series of management problems need to be solved .

More importantly, the policies, standards, markets, profit models, etc., which are related to the healthy development of the industry, are currently blank. In particular, the lack of standards makes the concept of Internet of Vehicles not really accepted by consumers, and it is difficult to distinguish the difference between the Internet, Internet of Vehicles and vehicle communication platforms.

Behind the Internet of Vehicles is a long series of industrial chains composed of car manufacturers, in-vehicle terminal companies, telecommunications operators, IT companies, hardware suppliers, traffic information content operators and service providers. These related companies are promoting the development of the connected car industry according to their own understanding.

According to Yang Jing, chief scientist of the China Mobile Communications Research Institute, at the "2011 China Automotive Electronics International Forum and Automotive Semiconductor Application Summit", the Internet of Vehicles has been developed according to four different routes, which are OEM-led and commercial Logistics fleet-led, public service-led and consumer electronics-led. Different models have produced different application systems, and the information cannot be shared with each other, obviously not meeting the requirements of Internet of Vehicles.

App first

From 2009, the concept of Internet of Vehicles was formally proposed by the Internet of Things, and has become a major special project of the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan", the development of Internet of Vehicles is continuously accelerating. However, the Internet of Vehicles has always developed on the first level that Shi Qixin said.

Shi Qixin said that many enterprises are still in the first level of the Internet of Vehicles, and the second level is less, the third level is not to mention. Without the cooperation and support of the government, it is difficult for enterprises to intervene in the latter two levels.

At present, Shi Qixin has joined eight academicians to suggest that the country should pay attention to the research direction of the Internet of Vehicles and treat it as a national strategic industry. At the end of last year, 10 central enterprises and 10 universities and institutes jointly initiated the establishment of the "National Automotive Mobile Internet of Things Joint Design Center" in Beijing.

In the absence of standards and policies, the development of the Internet of Vehicles is actually at a stage where the related companies are doing their own thing and developing independently. The focus is still on the first level.

Pan Qizhuo, a researcher in the high-tech industry, told this reporter that the interconnection of the Internet of Vehicles is difficult to achieve. At present, the in-vehicle application is relatively weak, and the application should be strengthened first.

The development of Internet of Vehicles should first be accepted by consumers. Strengthen the application side to attract consumers. Except for navigation and anti-theft, the current applications are idealized by other companies.

For consumers, entertainment applications should be in greater demand outside of services such as navigation and anti-theft. Internet radio and other in-vehicle application services will inspire more consumers to choose Internet of Vehicles.

In the development of the Internet of Things abroad, automobile companies such as General Motors and Audi have begun to propose the extension of application-side services to in-vehicle Internet broadcasting and in-vehicle applications (apps) that solve security issues. This new foreign development trend may be able to inspire our Internet of Things.

The 1140V mining intrinsically safe and Explosion Proof Drive produced by FGI adopts the IGBT clamped three-level topology. The output voltage waveform is an approximate sine wave formed by superposition, and the higher harmonic components are significantly lower than the two-level inverter`s. The interference to the power grid and control system has improved significantly. This explosion proof Variable Frequency Drive is used in coal mine scraper conveyors, high-power tape conveyor and winch control, etc.
