Molex , the world's leading electronic components company, introduces its vertical version of its DuraClik TM 2.00mm pitch wire-to-board connector. The new vertical DuraClik connector is designed for onboard automotive instrumentation, including steering wheel, shift lever, wiper/flash control Rods, headlights, inverters and air conditioners, as well as electric bicycles, trucks, overweight machines, factory automation equipment and other high vibration applications.

Molex DuraClik series connectors include right angles and now available in vertical configurations to meet different space constraints and harness installation requirements. The new vertical configuration connector has a socket that fits in the vertical aspect of the board mounting connector. These connectors are specifically designed to improve harness installation for space-constrained automotive applications. The closed contacts are designed to prevent dust and damage, and the internal self-locking mechanism ensures a secure connection while preventing breakage due to wire winding.

The DuraClik connector meets the requirements of a car compartment with a maximum operating temperature of +105 ° C and can be heard safely to determine the connector. Right-angle and vertical configurations DuraClik 2.00mm pitch wire-to-board connectors are designed with anti-vibration SMT and wide pads. In automotive anti-vibration testing, the DuraClik connector is able to withstand 100N (10kgf) pull-up force for reliable PCB retention in high vibration applications.
