Molex Corporation announces the availability of a wide range of Woodhead® LED wide area portable magnetic lamps in the humid environment. This high-durability solution provides contractors and maintenance, manufacturing, and quality control personnel with luminaires that can consume up to 40 watts of power and achieve 2,700 lumens of brightness and up to 50,000 hours of life. Compared to conventional luminaires such as high pressure sodium lamps (HPS) and metal halide lamps (MH), this product can significantly extend the expected life. The luminaire is also equipped with heavy-duty magnets that can be quickly, easily and securely mounted to a variety of metal surfaces.

Woodhead LED wide-area portable magnetic lamps have instantaneous turn-on capability at extreme temperatures, without mercury, and do not incur the cost of luminaire processing. This product has a brightness of 2700 lumens at 5000K and a color reproduction index (CRI) of 86, providing excellent color reproduction. Watertite® connectivity connectors are certified for use in wet environments and are an option for products that can be used to bundle multiple fixtures to provide illumination for large areas. The rugged cast aluminum housing and molded polycarbonate lens are well to withstand shock, vibration, shock and corrosion. This luminaire product is certified by a third-party cULus for wet environments and meets US and Canadian compliance requirements.
