With the first electricity access to the power grid, Puni successfully completed the grid connection of a 3.1 MW rooftop solar photovoltaic power station in Changzhou, Jiangsu Province.
It is reported that this project adopts the form of distributed generation, ladder control, and centralized grid connection, and carries out multiple and fully optimized design of the system configuration to ensure that the system has a higher cost performance. It is in line with the direction of solar power generation on the roof encouraged by the National Energy Administration and the Jiangsu Provincial Government. It is of great significance for the construction of new energy cities and new energy and energy conservation parks.
It is understood that this project is one of the many solar power stations built by Puni Solar in China in 2011. It can generate approximately 3 million kilowatt-hours of green clean electricity per year. Compared with thermal power plants with the same amount of power generation, this project will reduce the annual emission of greenhouse gas carbon dioxide. About 3325 tons; each year to reduce the emission of atmospheric pollutant gases, about 25 tons of sulfur dioxide, nitrogen oxides, about 8 tons, emissions reduction benefits are very significant. With many years of experience in the development and operation of international new energy power plants, Puni has continued to optimize in terms of feasibility studies, power station design, project declaration, construction, and co-ordination etc., making the project a high-quality construction and one-off under a short construction period. Through the acceptance check, the local government, the power grid, the power sector, and partners have been recognized.
