As the slope of the insertion loss characteristic of the filter becomes larger, it is difficult to adversely affect the signal when the signal is close to the frequency of the noise. Figure 2 shows an example where the signal frequency is high and close to the noise frequency. When the frequencies of the two are close, if a filter with a flat insertion loss is used and a constant that can sufficiently reduce the noise is selected, the harmonic component of the signal adjacent to the frequency is sufficiently weakened. As a result, as shown in FIG. 3, the signal waveform becomes gentle. Choosing a constant that does not affect the signal frequency can result in insufficient noise reduction. On the other hand, if a filter with a large inclination change is used, the signal and noise can be separated, and the influence on the signal can be effectively controlled. For this reason, the LC composite filter squelch effect can be used to suppress the influence of the signal waveform on the high-speed signal line as much as possible.
