He found that the return rate of these enterprises was 80% to 90%, but they all encountered a problem: "The average worker is not enough."

“The production of most lighting enterprises in Foshan is mainly based on assembly. Many enterprises report that many employees will not come back after the New Year, and two or three employees will return one-third.” Zhang Hua revealed that some enterprises were affected last year. The environmental inspection has affected the early stoppage of work. This year, just after the end of the year, the orders have been rushed, but the workers are not enough, which makes the company quite a headache.

Small and medium-sized enterprises are difficult to recruit, and leading enterprises are relatively good. Guoxing Optoelectronics officially started construction on February 4, and the current rework rate is around 95%. The situation is the same as last year. This year, Guoxing Optoelectronics continued to expand production, and plans to recruit more than 500 employees, of which 150 are college students and the rest are front-line workers.

"Compared with the past years, the number of candidates for this year is indeed less, but it can basically meet our needs. Why are the current employees increasingly difficult to recruit? The relevant person in charge believes that “many outsiders want to be close to employment and are not willing to go far to Foshan. At the same time, young people’s pursuit is not only to earn money, but also to choose A relatively easy, decent job or self-employment, there are more channels and ways of employment."

Tan Liubao of Foshan Lighting Human Resources Department also reached similar conclusions through data analysis of employees. “Last year, I analyzed the employment situation of the company and found that the current employees are mainly in the three provinces of Guangdong, Guangxi and Yunnan. There are not many employees in other provinces.” Tan Liubao said that in the past, Hunan’s employees accounted for a relatively high proportion. In the past, they purchased 2,000 train tickets to Hengyang every year for their employees. This year, they only need more than 100 tickets. "On the one hand, it is affected by the opening of the high-speed rail, but on the other hand, it is also because our Hunan-based staff has decreased. Hunan Hengyang, Jiangxi Ji'an, Hubei Xiaogan, used to be our three major labor markets, and now it is very obvious."
